PAVSEEL is a clear, low viscosity liquid prepolymer formulated to bind particles of jointing sand to themselves and to the block paving. On application, the polymer penetrates the jointing sand. Through evaporation of the solvent and the polymerisation reaction using atmospheric and residual moisture in the sand it forms an in-situ elastomeric bond thus retaining the flexural properties of the pavement. The prime purpose of PAVSEEL is as a binder of the jointing sand.
