Nuplex supply these paving supports as shown. These pavers will support wooden squares and concrete or Terrazzo pavers. The Department of Building and Housing now require (E2/AS1. section 7.0 p48-53, fig 14A & 17A, enclosed decks, ie a room underneath) a set-down of 100mm and that deck surfaces are now removable for access to the waterproofing membrane. Deck surfaces may not be directly fixed to the waterproofing surface. These supports will be compliant with that requirement.
Nuplex recommend a double layer of Soprasun roofing membrane on a deck. This should be a minimum of 100mm below the door entrance. The use of these supports and a double layer membrane will allow the finished deck surface to be level with the interior floor but still will be compliant with the act as the deck surface is removable for maintenance of the membrane.
