Bostik 1222 is a general purpose contact adhesive formulated to give high bond strength and high heat resistance.
It is recommended for the bonding of plastic laminates (for example Formica ®) and is an excellent choice for the adhering of butyl roofing membrane. Bostik 1222 has excellent adhesion to most common metals including stainless steel, aluminium and zinc surfaces.
In the flooring industry it can be used for the bonding of carpet, sheet vinyls, vinyl skirtings and stair nosings.
In the footwear industry it is an excellent sole attaching cement and is recommended for use on leather, resin rubber and E.V.A.
It is also available in a sprayable version called 1222S in blue or natural which can be used in conventional or airless spray equipment.

Coverage: 4 - 9 m2/L on one surface depending on the absorbency of the surface and method of application.
