The ShadowLine detail (also known as Negative detail) adds a modern finish to door jamb liners. The timber jambs are manufactured so as to aid the builder in finishing the jamb detail with a small 10 x 10mm rebate around the jamb liners.
This popular detail is made easy with this unit. Please note: it important to ask specifically for this product at the time of order.
These units are supplied as fully assembled units with or without a door fitted and are available in single and bi-parting double units with a range of options as detailed below.

Design Features & Options
* The jambs are supplied with a reduced face width so that the jamb width matches the finished wall thickness.
* If timber jambs are used then the jamb can be supplied with a 20 – 30mm return. Wall linings are run up to within 10 – 13mm of this return to create a negative detail. If required a ‘Z’ mould can be used
* If aluminium jambs are used then 2 layers of plasterboard are required to create the detail. The first acts as a packer (13mm) and the second creates the detail. This option also comes with a small extrusion for a neat detailed finish.
* The patented cavity frame is engineered from high quality heavy duty extruded aluminium.
* All aluminium components are screwed together for strength and reliability.
* Pine nogs, skirtings and split jamb blocks are fitted to the aluminium frame for ease of fixing plaster board, skirtings and architraves.
* Timber blocks for nailing architraves are fitted to the aluminium split jambs.

* Extra carriages may be fitted for heavier doors.
* Fully tested and guaranteed.
